Switching station Holligen

Project description
The new installation is located in the immediate vicinity of the existing switching station and the Holligen depot of BLS Netz AG. In this new construction, the existing technical building will also be integrated, which contains systems for energy supply, technical power supplies, telecom and radio.

EPRO TRAFFIC was commissioned to accompany this highly interesting project in all SIA 108 sub-phases. It was defined as an interface to the traction current, the energy distribution low voltage, to the supply of the secondary technology medium voltage.

A special feature is the supply and generation of various power supply networks, which are required for the redundant supply of a wide range of systems:

3 x 400V / 50Hz standard power supply, 230V/16.7Hz traction power supply, emergency power supply, uninterruptable power supply (UPS) network, 48VDC technical power supply, 110VDC power supply for secondary technology.

EMC-compliant cable routing of all supply networks is carefully considered. In addition to these systems, EPRO TRAFFIC plans the electrical room equipment according to BLS’s standard, telecom infrastructure fiber optics/copper, low-voltage power distributions, UPS system, rectifier systems, return and grounding system according to D RTE 27900, monitoring and fault detection of technical systems and much more.

Construction project (development of detailed concepts and planning documents for the energy supply / return flow and grounding concept / machine plans, cost estimate, plant description). Tender for the procurement of necessary electrical installations and energy supply systems. Execution planning (detailed planning of installations, electrical diagrams, principle diagrams, data-point lists for monitoring and much more).

Implementation (on-site specialist construction management of commissioned contractors, specialist controlling and quality assurance). Commissioning (coordination of commissioning on site, integrated inspection of energy supply networks). Acceptance of contractor services. Preparation of submission documentation.
