Wabern station

Project description
BLS Netz AG is modernising Wabern station on the Bern-Belp-Thun line. The existing station no longer meets requirements and must also be modernised to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act.

The station will be modernized in its entirety, and passenger walkways will change completey. The existing central platform will be removed. Instead, two 220m-long outer platforms with several entrances will be built. Lighting that is dependent on daylight and harmonized with the environment leads to a bright station that invites passengers to get on and off. All necessary electrical and telecom systems will be accommodated in a technical room.

Comprehensive project planning from TL32 up to and including TL53, creation of all necessary installation plans, principle diagrams and electrical diagrams, assistance in the development of the lighting concept, preparation of tendering for electrical installation and evaluation contractors, scheduling, coordination with specialist services and other specialist divisions such as architecture, civil engineering etc., specialist construction management on site, participation in overall project meetings and construction meetings, scheduling and cost controlling, specialist controlling of implementation, documentation.

Plants and systems
50 Hz local grid supply incl. switchgear combinations, general electrical installations in the technical room, installation and connection of platform equipment such as ticket validators, cleaning sockets etc., technical power supply, telecom cabinets, VS83 CU distributor and fiber optic distributor.
